I John 3:17 But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?

If your family is like most, you have a Christmas tree decorated with many presents laying all around it. That picture of Christmas should ignite a spirit of thanks to God for His blessings of financial resources. 

Today's verse encourages us to share the blessings God has given us with others. There is so much need here in the US and around the world. Giving, especially when the resources appear small, are doubled when given out of a heart full of love towards others. And the beautiful thing in giving is God blesses the giver. 

I encourage you to consider giving something, either financially or physically, to a worthwhile cause. When you do, you share the love of Christ with those in need.
