Isaiah 43:25 “I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; And I will not remember your sins.

When someone offends you, how long does it take to forgive them? I'm sure the degree of pain you felt determines the length of time to find forgiveness. Sadly many today have gone years without acknowledging forgiveness, thus keeping them in a frozen state of bitterness. 

Today's verse is a great reminder that when we sin against God and ask forgiveness, He does so immediately. He even takes it a step further by not remembering your wrong doing. You won't find that quality of forgiveness in any human being. 

The freedom that God's children experience, feeling guilt free is refreshing, especially in this day and time when people’s skin is so thin, one word or one wrong look will bring division and hurt. If you are tired of trying to live your life without offending others, focus on your relationship with the One who has already made a path of forgiveness through faith in Christ.
