II Corinthians 11:14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 

A while back, I had to use my phone's GPS to get me to a destination I've never been. I selected the location and hit start. As I journeyed to my destination I had a sense of confidence, trusting this technology, but as I got closer, things didn't appear as they should. Upon arrival I realized I was at the wrong location and discovered I selected the wrong business. If only I had studied the route first, I would have known the correct path to my intended destination. 

Today's verse might come to a surprise to you, that Satan could be an imitation of God's light, but remember, he once was a highly valued angel in heaven who became obsessed with power. So yes, he can resemble a light. This is why it's so important to study God's word to ensure you are headed towards your intended destination, Heaven. Satan is a deceiver and will make you believe how you are living your life is God pleasing, even blessed by Him, but the truth is you could be following a light that ends in complete darkness. 

Maybe you are at the crossroads of a divorce, a new relationship, a business deal, a new purchase, maybe even choosing a new church to attend. Check the book, the truth of God's word, found in the Bible. It will never steer you down a path towards destruction, but God's blessings and will not only benefit you, but bring honor to God. 

The Christian life isn't that complicated, especially when you rely on the trusted roadmap of God's word. Pray about your decisions and ask God to reveal the truth and His light so you'll always be on the narrow path, the only path, to Heaven. God bless.
