Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use it, it will be measured back to you. Luke 6:38

 

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! This special time of the year provides many opportunities to show our gratitude of God’s blessings by sharing with others what He has provided. And God has provided plenty to you and I and everyone who enjoys the benefits of living in this land of freedom.

 

As you celebrate God’s goodness today, be mindful of the many men, women, and children who are in need and ask God to open your eyes for the opportunity to share a portion of your overflow to them. Your willingness and obedience to give will return back to you more blessings than you could earn by your own merit. God has a way of multiplying your dollars, your time, and your prayers to benefit someone other than self.

 

And the King will answer and say to them, “Assuredly I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me. Matthew 25:40

 

You’ll never run out of blessings when you invest them in the Lord. God bless!
