Three days til Christmas! It’s hard to believe it’s actually upon us. It seems every year Christmas traditions change; with varying schedules, work commitments, changes in family status…how can one find consistency during the Christmas season?

 

 

I believe one thing that really taints the Christmas spirit is expectations of what Christmas time should be. LOL, like Sparky in the movie Christmas Vacation, we build up these great and high expectations in our minds of how family events should go, certain gifts we expect to receive and the outcome of family members coming together.   

 

Don’t let the changes and expectations make it difficult to find joy in the holiday season; find joy in the consistency of Jesus Christ. The birth of Jesus Christ should be the focus of your celebration with all family gatherings, expectations of certain gifts and family traditions. Nothing truly matters, other than your celebration of Christ. God bless!
