Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Hebrews 131:8

 

Here in Georgia, you can expect the weather to be at opposite extremes in a days’ time. It might be freezing cold in the morning and hot by 3 PM. These changes can leave you questioning what clothing you need to wear.  

 

Taking another look at the world, its changing; our climate continues to change, the values and beliefs of society change, laws change, we change. Nothing ever stays consistent. As I get older, I find myself getting more frustrated at changes. I like things to be consistent and have a good idea that tomorrow will be the same as today, but its not.

 

The one thing you can always count on to remain steady is Jesus Christ. His presence in your life never changes, no matter how far from His truth you journey. His word never changes, its wisdom provides guidance in this ever-changing world. He is an anchor for the soul. The best way to adapt to change is cling to Him and read His word. Its solid foundation of truth will give you the confidence you need to navigate the daily challenges you face in life.

 

“Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, and the strength of salvation; The fear of the Lord is His treasure.” Isaiah 33:6
