Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established. Proverbs 16:3
Well, here we are
again with another Monday. I believe the week prior was the longest week ever
and this weekend went by without hesitation. My brain has hardly had a chance
to just rest, and my morning prayer time has been a muddled mess. Have you ever
experienced this? I’m sure you have. Today, on this start of the work week, God
brought to mind the Lord’s prayer. I want to share it with you and ask that you
read it and simply focus on it throughout the day.
Our Father in
heaven,
Hallowed be Your
name,
Your kingdom come,
Your will be done
On earth as it is in
heaven.
Give us this day our
daily bread,
And forgive us our
debts,
As we forgive our
debtors.
And do not lead us
into temptation,
But deliver us from
the evil one.
For Yours is the
kingdom and the power and the glory forever.
Amen.
Matthew 6:9-13
Sometimes the best
way to recenter your day is to focus on the goodness of God and His blessings
in your life. This simple prayer is one of the best things you can focus on
when life is chaos and your mind has a difficult time staying focused. Make it
the center of your day and the remainder will pivot around the sweet words of Jesus
Christ. God bless!
