Every second that passes by is called “history”. You’ve lived through it and its now in your past. Unfortunately, as humans we often replay the past in our minds to: figure out what happened, what we could have done better and often regret burdens those thoughts. Time spent dwelling on the past can be exhausting and will wear on you emotionally, even physically.

Today’s scripture is a good reminder to leave the past in the history books and focus on what’s up ahead. God has some wonderful plans and blessings for your life, but if you spend time in the past you will surely miss out on what He has in store for you. Your past does shape your future, so forget what’s happened…its over and done with, now focus on the good God has for you! Look ahead and you’ll see the road more clearly that God has prepared for you friend! God bless!
