I recall one time when I was baking a cake, after mixing all the ingredients and baking it in the oven I was surprised when it came out flat. It was a total flop. I went back and looked over the list of ingredients and sure enough I left out one important one which made the cake a flat as a pancake.

For the child of God, its so important to make God a part of your every day life. From the moment you wake up in the morning, to the decisions you make throughout the day, to the people you hang out with and where you go, God should be the main ingredient of the day. Without your day guided by His wisdom, His protection and His grace, you will most likely have a bad day, a flop…just like my cake.

As you read this, you might have started your day off without a single thought of God. Take a moment right now and pray that God guides you and reminds you of the importance to always seek after Him, no matter what everyone else is saying.
